3M Fire Barrier Wrap Strips, 2 x 24

One-part, fire-resistive wraps with foil on one side that are designed to firestop penetrations in fire-rated floor, wall and floor/ceiling assemblies. These intumescent wraps provide up to 4 hours of fire protection in tested and listed systems. Used for in-hole firestop installations or in conjunction with 3M Fire Barrier RC-1 Restricting Collars. When the wrap is installed in-hole in conjunction with a 3M Fire Barrier Sealant or Moldable Putty+, it also provides a cold smoke seal, which helps prevent the spread of toxic gases and other combustion by-products even before heat initiates the intumescent process. Available in 2 in. x 24 in. strips (50.8 mm x 609 mm).
