A small but mighty abrasive accessory, 3M Unitized Wheel Mandrels secures Scotch-Brite Unitized Wheels (sold separately) to a rotary tool with a ¼” collet (such as a die grinder) for edge deburring and finishing. Use with high speed or easy loading Unitized Wheels 2 - 3 in diameter x 1/8 - 1/2 in wide x 3/8 in CH. This mandrel comes with one silver cap for 1/8 in and 1/4 in wide wheels and one black cap for 3/8 in and 1/2 in wide wheels. Maximum Operating Speeds: 25,100 with a 2 inch diameter wheel, 22,100 with a 2 1/2 inch diameter wheel, and 18,100 with a 3 inch diameter wheel

Crafted from steel, 3M Unitized Wheel Mandrel also comes with two flanges that fit on either side of the wheel and a retainer nut that locks the wheel in place. Attach 3M Unitized Wheel Mandrel to tools like 3M Die Grinders (sold separately). These power tools are designed for continuous use and have features that enhance operator comfort and control. For example, the precision-balanced steel motor reduces vibration and weight, while 3M Gripping Material on the body enables a firm grip.
